The production process starts with the selection of the broodstock, chosen as the most perfect specimens over generations. These are placed in tanks under controlled environmental conditions, such as lighting, temperature and feeding, which consequently leads to satisfactory breeding results.
SPASA produces Abalone conforming to all the quality requirements of the highest gastronomic standards, as a result of the rigor of the procedures employed, both during culture as also during processing. In this way, SPASA controls the highest levels of quality and hygiene; conforms to all international sanitary requirements; carries out complex handling procedures; and applies clean technology with care for every detail of the production processes of both the species under culture: the Japanese Green Abalone (Ezo Awabi) and the Californian Red Abalone.
